How we design a commercial system
Every zone follows the same rules we use at homes, because they decide how evenly the water goes down for years afterward:
- Turf and landscape beds are on separate zones.
- Spray heads and rotors never share a zone, because they put water down at different rates.
- Beds are watered with low volume, drip or Maxi-Jet emitters.
- Heads are spaced head-to-head, so one failed head does not leave a section dry.
Smart, remotely managed controllers let the schedules follow the current watering rules without a trip to each controller.
Installing without tearing up the property
We call it a ghost install. We dig carefully, keep the soil on tarps, install the pipe, valves and heads, and backfill so the landscape looks as it did before we came. Trenches are cut with a two-inch disc trencher instead of a wide chain trencher, because most of our work goes into established turf. The cleanup takes more time and more care, and the landscape is restored when we leave.
