Technician will replace up to five (5) nozzles as part of the Tune Up and will place flags at each identified deficiency (any condition that reduces the overall efficiency of the system; this may include breaks, heads too low or tilted, clogged or inappropriate nozzles, heads in the wrong place, etc.) Technician will program the system controller using cycle/soak and best practices for water uptake and conservation. Technician will walk all recommendations with the client and provide education as to the reasoning for each flag as well as the associated costs and benefits. **Upgrades:

Purpose:

To dramatically increase distribution uniformity (DU), improving efficiency and reducing/eliminating waste throughout the entire system.  Scope includes replacing low-performing components (due to age or component chosen during the design/installation phase) located in sub-optimal positions (due to either design/install shortfall or landscape maturation/changes), resulting in the highest available performance.  Landscape beds will have all traditional/turf irrigation removed/relocated, and all landscapes will be watered with separate low-volume irrigation per current local code and best practices.

Frequency:

Once per existing zone, it may be executed simultaneously or over time.  Discounts are offered for investing in your entire irrigation system.

Cost:

Costs most often associated with upgrading existing irrigation systems include relocating heads, upgrading outdated rotors and fixed spray heads with high-performing spray bodies and rotary nozzles (SAM PRS), and installing low-volume zones in lieu of existing sprays or poorly installed drip.  Quotes are created during the initial tune-up.

Covers:

Client property is evaluated and a moisture map is created and measured before and after the upgrade is completed.  Gallons per minute are gathered per station and recorded before and after the upgrade is completed.  Resulting savings may be utilized to determine the return on investment (ROI) using client’s current cost/unit and tier rating.
